James Dillon, PCH
James opened Native Havens LLC after working 15 years in the landscaping industry. One of many experiences with plants, he worked as a nursery manager and woody plant buyer where a diverse palette of plant cultivars was learned and used. He has an extensive garden in Kearneysville, WV where hundreds of plants are observed for hardiness, attractiveness to pollinators, growth habit, and ornamental qualities. James studies ecology through continuing education and incorporates ecological landscape design concepts into gardens whenever possible. Native Havens has grown tremendously over the years since Josh Evans, an extraordinarily talented designer and horticulturist has joined the team. And of course, we couldn't do it without our crew...shout out to Chris, Hannah, Abby, and our foreman Skylar who has made this journey possible with his many years of hard work.
